Why does the plan include a packing buffer?

Boxes rarely stack as perfectly as their outside dimensions suggest. The buffer leaves room for uneven loads and protective materials.

Should I keep the aisle on?

Keep it on when you expect to retrieve items. Turn it off only when the unit will be tightly packed and opened at move-out.
